Every project I work on I come into some new issue I have to trouble shoot. Today I started working on this cool hexagon side table. Since sanding is a nightmare with any wood that has a lot of detail I decided to go straight to priming. I used spray primer KRYLON Color Master.
After I primed the whole piece I noticed that a big portion of the top was cracked and would definitely be more of an issue if not taken care of.
The answer was simple, sand it and re-prime it. So that’s what I did. I took a small manual 220 Grit block and sanded it down until the ridges were gone.
When I got the desired smoothness I wanted, I re-primed it and went on my merry little way.
